COMPONENT SELECTION

A clearer brief.
A better starting point.

Use this checklist to prepare a transformer or magnetic-component inquiry. Keep unconfirmed values marked as “To be confirmed” and attach a reference drawing when available.

01 / ELECTRICAL

Describe the circuit.

  • Component function: transformer, inductor or another magnetic assembly
  • Input voltage range and required outputs
  • Operating frequency, waveform and duty cycle
  • Power requirement, continuous current and peak current
  • Inductance, tolerance and ripple current where relevant
02 / MECHANICAL

Define the available space.

  • Maximum length, width and height
  • Mounting-hole locations or PCB footprint
  • Pin pitch, lead length and connection type
  • Cable exit direction and installation clearance
  • Drawing, sample photograph or existing part reference
03 / OPERATING CONDITIONS

Explain the environment.

  • Ambient temperature range and cooling method
  • Insulation and isolation requirements
  • Installation inside an enclosure or on a circuit board
  • Required safety standards and test conditions
  • Any vibration, humidity or other environmental requirements
04 / PROJECT DETAILS

Prepare the review package.

  • Reference photo name or existing component number
  • Target sample quantity and estimated production quantity
  • Required drawings, test reports or approval documents
  • Target sample date and production schedule
  • Clearly separate confirmed requirements from open questions

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before choosing a component.

Are the photographed products standard models?

The supplied images do not establish a model catalog. Photo names are descriptive references. Confirm the exact model, drawing and availability before ordering.

What do the Boost and INV kW labels mean?

They are application reference labels reproduced from the presentation. They do not establish component-rated voltage, current or power. Confirm the converter requirements and the component specification separately.

Can I select a component from its appearance alone?

Use the images to communicate construction and connection preferences. Electrical requirements, dimensions and operating conditions are still needed to assess suitability.

Where can I send my requirements?

Email your product reference and requirements to dongfan.li@taishengusa.com, or call Mr. Yu at +1 (334) 740-6068 or Mr. Li at +1 (916) 335-9189.

Keep your project details together.

Save your requirements, drawing and selected photo references for the design review.
